HAND SIGNALS FOR RESCUE

HandSignalsForRescue

A SIGNALING TIP: In a rescue situation, people will often want to wave to a pilot when they see them coming, hoping the pilot or other searchers on the craft will see them waving. The waving of one hand means “All OK, Do Not Wait.” Always wave with both hands together over your head. This means “Pick Me/Us Up.”  If you want to be left there, then wave just one hand.  However, if you want help or be rescued, wave both hands.
